The CSI St. Paul’s Church Choir is a vibrant and dedicated ministry comprising 40 members, including 32 men and 8 women. The choir plays a vital role in enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of all worship services and special occasions. The choir is led by Mr J. D. Premil Kumar (Choir Leader) and Mr Michael Dhinakaran (Choir Convener). We are blessed to have senior members who have faithfully served in the choir for over 30 years, reflecting a rich legacy of commitment and devotion.

Choir practice is held every Saturday at 7:00 PM for 30 minutes, where members rehearse and sing in parts. The choir ministers regularly during the Sunday worship services at 6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, and 6:00 PM. Their presence adds solemnity and devotion to each service.
Significant events/contributions of the Choir include:
- The Christmas program, where the choir presents a special 4-part performance. Preparations for this event begin four months in advance, allowing ample time for practice and coordination.
- An important role on All Souls’ Day (2nd November) by visiting cemeteries and singing hymns in remembrance of the departed. This reflects their commitment to both spiritual service and community support.
- Extends its service to all weddings and funeral ceremonies, providing appropriate musical support for these important life events.
- During festive occasions, choir members take initiative beyond singing by actively participating in altar decoration, contributing to the overall beauty and reverence of the church environment.
- The choir actively participates in church events such as the Mission Sale, Faith Festival, and Harvest Festival by organising game stalls and lucky draws.
- Through the generous contributions of both present and past members, the choir has also made significant contributions toward church renovation projects.
In all this, the choir demonstrates dedication, unity, and devotion through its regular practices and active involvement in all church activities.
